No one is indifferent when we approach the lives of orphaned children on planet earth. Having varied and often complex origins, the causes of their precarious living conditions remain an enigma and an equation difficult to solve. For some children, the orphan situation involves the death of one or both parents, especially the father called upon to play the role of educator and provider of the children’s well-being.
These orphans live in conditions that do not bode well for a better tomorrow. They are often at the mercy of the guardians who adopted them and are committed to providing them with the comfort necessary for their development. Unfortunately, deprived of the basic rights of education, health and healthy eating, some adolescents fall into the net of perverse groups who teach them degrading behaviors. Faced with this observation, we initiated this project for the benefit of a dozen orphans.
The following objectives were defined
- Develop the intellectual and creative potential of these children,
- Produce future productive forces for the development of the territory and the entire prefecture,
- Reduce their precariousness.
For this, three main activities were included in this project:
- The layout and equipment of the orphanage,
- Training and education of orphans of both sexes in agriculture and related activities,
- Monitoring and supporting young orphans for their socio-professional integration.
Action Caritative Infinie (ACI) under trustEvents Africa + Papillons Libre Multiservice + Emmit SARL will be the key players in the implementation of this project. They will be accompanied by local authorities.
The rehabilitation of the orphanage and other related work will be the responsibility of the management of the association carrying the project. A local management committee for this project will be set up to support the association in its execution.
The cost of these various activities amounts to 132,500,000.00 CDF (one hundred and thirty-two million five hundred thousand CDF).
